Jukem Football is a practical and fun way for children and adults to exercise mental quickness while having fun with a subject they love: football. The game promotes their math skills through repetitive counting by 5’s and 10’s, critical thinking and judgment through making decisions. As players develop their Jukem skills, they learn to observe their opponents’ as well as their own play to make the best strategic choices during the game.
Our game has been used by teachers in classrooms ranging from first grade through high school.
Jukem's color coded system, easy-to-learn rules and bright graphics and illustrations make the game playable even by young, non-readers with help from an adult. The creators of Jukem did this with one of their son's, teaching him how to count by 5's, subtract from 100 and make basic strategic game decisions - all before age five.
A school teacher at Pelham (New Hampshire) Elementary used our game as part of ongoing Football-themed lessons. "We learned a new game ... which challenged the kids to use their math skills to get their team to the end zone."
